What does CHRONIC mean to you?

It only really became apparent that only a minority of us use the word chronic in a 'positive' light. This fact became crystal when i was perusing the net & found 8 pages of not so happy listings. There was chronic fatigue, chronic pain, chronic disease & so on. . .there were two neutral topics on the meaning of chronic. The most positive thing i found in that 8 pages was 'Dope Wars' online. Which even though it seems of a negative nature . . wouldn't you like to play the crooked cop that gets to make a whole Lotta shady deals & profit two fold. . & walk. In reality you get to practice up to ten years of this behaviour before a year of surveillance to take you out!

If you like to keep frozen visuals of your life like me & most probably like 94% of the population, i have used a few cameras now & dv handy cams & the best one so far that i've kept & still work with; is the Panasonic DMC-FZ8 lumix. This is a great camera with heaps of features to make it easy to use or to get that multi-framed sports shot. Even the simple snaps of your pet turn out vivid & almost life like. With a 12x optical zoom & 7.2 megapixels, is all you need to produce professional pictures. Online prices i've seen on the net start @ $335 & range to $490. In shops i've seen them range up to $880.

It was only just over a year ago now when i saw him waiting there. So tailored, solid & sleek with an air that seemed to be waiting for . . . . ME! I turned to my friend & said thats it he's the 1. I smiled @ the shop owner & i jumped on, we fit, i couldnt waste my time trying any of the other drums. . It was what a drum should look like, feel like & sound like. It was turning into a perfect day, i was only looking to spend half the money that i did but i dont like to shoot myself in the foot. I would have seriously had a cheap kitt on it's last legs by now. With the deep snare & toms it's an easy task to make a wicked sound pound out.

Ever since i can remember music has been there to keep a time line in my mind. Whenever one of your fav songs comes on wheather it's 10 or 20 years old or even if it's only 2 years old you can always remember vividly the events & happenings & what year all these details occurred. I find the strength of music to be out of this world, it has such profound power. To move you to tears or joy even if you were in the other mood. In my adult life i have had much more passion for the creation of music than as a child, maybe that drum kitt i nagged my oldies for, for almost a year would of actually been a better investment than that shitty (only cause it wasnt my main interests back then) keyboard i was forced to learn. wooo!
